Esra Dilek received her PhD from the Department of Political Science at Bilkent University in 2019. Between 2021 and 2022, she conducted research as a Fulbright scholar at the George Mason University School of Peace and Conflict Resolution. Between 2022 and 2023, she served as an IPC-Mercator researcher at the Sabancı University Istanbul Policy Center. Her areas of interest are conflict resolution, peace negotiations, and international mediation. She has published in international journals such as Middle Eastern Studies, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, Peacebuilding, the Journal of Balkan, and Near Eastern Studies.
